Emerita Professor of Developmental and Educational Psychology. My research interests focus on school learning and specifically on learning from text ‒both printed and digital‒ examined in relation to differences in the reader, text type, and context. I am also interested in the role of the school physical environment (indoor spaces and outdoor green areas) in the cognitive and emotional functioning of children and adolescents.
